I’m the Chef, but My Wife Can Cook

I love to cook, I cook all the dinners and holiday meals, I am writing a cook book, clearly I am the chef in the household. However, before we became vegan my wife had certain dishes she made, and they were delicious! When the family started eating vegan, she took a back seat to cooking and started working on her own talents. She is a fantastic poet and artist with natural God given abilities. So what is the point of all this you say? Sometimes when I am sick or busy, the family will just have something simple. But recently she stepped up and made me feel so honored!!

My wife made a dish so wonderful, the flavors melded together so beautifully. She remembered things I told her about vegan cooking, like the importance of nutritional yeast. She brought together a great medley of vegetables like, brussels sprouts, green beans and mushrooms. She also added meatless meatballs. It tasted like a delightful Italian dish. I loved it so much, I want to put her recipe in my cookbook. What I also loved is that it was so important to her what I thought of her dish!! This is my honest feeling of what my wife means to me. She supports me, I support her, she is my best friend and I love her!!
