How many of you love change? Most people don’t, however if you do, congratulations you are one of the rare few. Just like thinking of vegan as a lifestyle and not a diet, it is also good to think of it as a transition not a change. Image if you get a promotion at work, hopefully they would not throw you into the position. You would finish up with your current job and then shift into the new post learning the duties and responsibilities of the vocation.

When you are beginning the vegan way of life, you slowly changeover, by giving up those things you used to eat and learning the new and different foods of the vegan fare. As with any transformation there will be bumps along the way. You may make a dish that disgust you and you order a bucket of chicken that night, well that slowed down the progression, but its an evolution nonetheless. Think of  your metamorphosis as part of your life’s journey, this is a new leg of your adventure and you are trying to figure out which direction to take. And guess what…. you may make a wrong turn now and again, but then you back up and get back right track and continue on your expedition.

Think of the vegan voyage as stopping at different hotels along the way, some may be very nice and posh and you enjoy your stay and never want to leave, certain ones are ok and you enjoyed your stay, others are crusty and you can wait to leave, never to return again and you will make sure no one you know goes there. It’s like that with experimenting with vegan meals, specials dishes will be so delicious that you will want to eat the whole thing in one sitting and want to tell everyone and their mama, several of them will be good and enjoyable, and yet a few will be awful and you will wonder what in creation you are doing in this vegan world. But just like a baby learning to walk, they don’t fall one time and say forget this walking thing, I’m done. So you mess up a recipe try another, get a cook book, go to a cooking class, just try something different don’t give up.

What you don’t have to do is change, you just have to transfer!
